The consulting industry has evolved with time and grown into one vast industry. They have come up with highly creative and innovative solutions to the ever changing demands of the clients. Consulting giants are inventors and creators of their own markets and today they have reached a point where they are in control of their future too. From the humble beginnings of 20th century to today’s huge consultancy corporations of 2050, the industry has come up a long way. Consultancy industry grew leaps and bounds as essence for these companies was well understood at that time. The industry purely revolves around Innovation, with special studies, research and well qualified people to be part of it. Yesterday, the world witnessed another fine example of the reach of today’s consultancy companies. The AS-IS and TO-BE study conducted here is astounding and have major implications. It appears that client commission is quite satisfied with the report. It promises to pave a cost efficient implementation. Here is the news clipping:

AFP: Houston, 20th March 2050

After 2 years of intense research and study XYZ Consulting Inc. today released its much awaited Mars Report. The project focused on studying and analysing Mars as a future human settlement destination. Mars has always been looked as a favourite human colony but the situation has changed since last decade when an alien species from outer space reached mars first and settled there. The 1140 page report was handed to the joint commission of the clients, which consists of delegates from 4 member countries viz. USA, China, India and Russia.

The report covers various details about the ongoing occupation of the alien race on the red planet, the area of their settlement, time till resources on Earth last, research findings of expeditions to Mars and the efficient plan of action to colonize it. The report contains many scenarios like plan of action for distribution of surface area of planet with coexistence with alien species. Many other scenarios have been analysed where there might be a hostile intervention of the alien species.

The report features results of all the expeditions in which aerospace division of XYZ Consulting Inc collaborated with NASA and ISRO. The company for over a period of two years has been studying alien occupation, available resources there and possible colonization with the help of its own aerospace arm and privately owned satellites. XYZ Consulting Inc also estimates that renewable fuels will last for 693 days more if present rate of consumption is continued; the report also says that inhabitable area on Earth has further decreased to 28% from 32.7% last year due to wars, global warming, pollution and growing sea levels.

The highlights of TO-BE study are that it advises at least 35% of population to be moved to red planet with initial investments of $285 Trillion on infrastructure and basic life support conditions. It has been estimated that it will take 3 years and 8 months to transport 35% of Earth’s population to Mars. The study indicated that only 6% of area of Mars is inhabitable in the initial 2 years, and almost 22% of food grains will be saved on Earth because of mars occupation.

The implementation plan greatly simplifies the initial Government plans and strategies. The vast inclusion of technology and knowhow has enabled to fill the gaps. The next job in list for XYZ Consulting Inc. is to guide various space agencies around the world for efficient and fast transport of human population to destination. The company is already in talks with various governments and has setup a panel to shortlist people on priority basis for the first trip based on their educational qualifications and needed expertise. AFP
