Greetings from the HRSoc, FMS Delhi!!

After the successful launch of the first issue, we hereby invite articles for the second issue of the HR Newsletter 'HRegatta'. The objective of the newsletter is to bring together the views and opinions, not only from students but from various professionals, on burning issues about human resource practices and methodologies. The soft copy of the newsletter would be circulated amongst corporates, alumni and in the student community across various b-schools.

Topics:

Articles are invited for the same on either of the topics mentioned below or any other topic of your choice:

• HR Ethics: An Examination of Key Issues
• Internet Recruiting: Advantages, Disadvantages, & Legal Issues
• HRM in the 21st Century: Challenges for the future
• Regulating Physical Appearance at Workplace
• Managing Retention: How to harness the "People Power"

Rules:

• The competition is open to full time management students only
• One article can have maximum of two authors
• Students co-authoring an article should be of the same institute
• Any entry should be an original piece of work and any references should be mentioned accordingly in the article
• Please refrain from plagiarism as it will lead to rejection of the entry
• You can supplement the text with appropriate pictures, catchy lines and block diagrams to increase the understandability

Format of submission:

Doc format, Word limit 1000 words, Arial font, Size 10.
File should contain the following:

• Name of the author(s)
• College Name
• Contact details - Email ID & mobile number
• Please do not mention any other details in the doc. If needed, you will be asked later

Subject Line of the e-mail: HRegatta2_YourCollegeName
Naming Convention of file: HRegatta2_AuthorName1_AuthorName2.doc

All the entries should be sent to hregatta@fms.edu before February 3rd 2012, 23:59:59 hours. In case of any queries, address the same to the email ID mentioned.

Prizes:

• Best article : Rs.1500
• Runner-Up : Rs.1000

The winners would also receive certificates of excellence from HRSoc, FMS Delhi.
