Utkarsh is a National Level Paper Presentation Competition organized by N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai.

The competition provides participants from management institutes across the country a stage to present their views on some of the current issues concerning the field of Human Resources.

The topic for Utkarsh 2012 is:

"Modern HR practices: A Harbinger for Growth?"

The topic wishes to highlight how modern HR practices help in the continuous improvement of top and bottom line growth of business,How can HR be converted from a cost centre to a profit centre and more such issues..

Cash prizes worth Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 10,000 are up for grabs for the top two winners.
In addition to this, certificates will be awarded to the top 5 teams.

Minimum 1 and maximum 3 students can form a team and multiple entries from each institute are allowed.
