A business plan is the foundation and building block of any organization. A good business plan is not only the blueprint of your success; it also provides you entry to the doors of investors and financial institutions. We know that you all are willing to check out the potential of your business ideas. So grab this opportunity at NITJ where QUEST is organizing the B-Plan competition in TECHNITI -2011. Present a formal statement of a set of business goals, the reasons why they are believed attainable, and the plan for reaching those goals; get your plan judged by the experts and win lots of prizes too.
The entire business plan event will be organized under 2 categories:
(1) Business entrepreneurship plan
(2) Social entrepreneurship plan
RULES
1. A team may consist of a maximum of 3 members. The members may or may not belong to the same institute.
2. All of the members should belong to some recognized educational institute.
3. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

> The Opportunity and Strategy
> The Target Market and Projections
> The Competitive Advantages
> Costs, the Economics, Profitability and Harvest Potential
> The Team
> The Offering
> Your mission/vision/objectives
> All other information that would help in making your plan more concrete.
Final Business Plan In total any business plan must be restricted to 30 pages.
Event Details
The entire event is divided into two rounds. Each consecutive round will consist of less number of candidates. A brief outline of the rounds is given below.
First Round
> In this round, a short summary of the business plan is to be submitted by e-mail to techniti11@nitj.ac.in latest by the 15th of February 2012.
> This must be in PDF format and should not be more than 3 pages long.
> The short listed teams will be intimated by the 20th of February, 2012.
Second Round
In this round, the business plan is studied in depth. The selected teams must now submit a detailed version of the plan.
> Submission must be through e-mail to techniti11@nitj.ac.in latest by the 23th of February, 2012.
> The short listed teams will be intimated by the 25th of February, 2012.
Final Round
This brings us to the final showdown of the teams. All of the teams which have been selected for the final round must now give a full presentation about their plan.
> The presentation must be in PPT or PPTX format.
> Each team will be allotted 10 minutes to present their ideas.
> An additional 5 minutes will be given for a question-answer round.
> The candidates are requested to be strict in timing. Each extra minute used will cause a deduction of 10% of marks for the team.
> The candidates are not allowed to use any audio or video content in the presentations.
