It is a cultural cum management festival which attracts participation of the students from colleges across the nation.

Final round:
Top six teams from the elimination round will compete in the final round.

"Marketroid" is a person who is concerned with spewing marketing dribble to sell a product. This game is all about Marketing, Advertising and Selling. Make the judges believe that you are the Ultimate Salesman of the Day.
So roll up your sleeves and come be a part of this exciting journey. If your team wins the title of The Marketroids rest assured, you'll win exciting prizes.
Event and Participation Rules:
• Team Size: 3 Members per team.
• Teams have to submit a soft copy of their Marketing plan (for round # 1, details given below) in MS Word, Font Style: Times New Roman, Font Size 12.
• The Title page should contain:
o Name of college
o Name of team members (their contact no and their email ID)
o No part of the document other than the title page should contain these contact details.
There will be four rounds:
Round #1
• Team has to submit a two page Marketing Plan consisting of 4Ps of Marketing. i.e. Product (or service), Place, Price and Promotional strategy.
• The marketing plan should also contain the target audience and competitors.

Parameters for Evaluation:
• Innovativeness
• Feasibility [plan should be commercially viable]
Round # 2
Advertising Round.
• 8 teams will be shortlisted from the elimination round.
• The teams shortlisted for this round will go to the stage for advertising round.

There will be questions to test your awareness about the marketing strategies followed by the companies

Do you fancy yourself to be the next Nolan, or Ritchie or Kashyap? Do you love to put on a different personality and live another life? Renaissance '12 brings to you Kaleidoscope, the short film making competition.
Kaleidoscope gives you the opportunity to express your unique take on life and the world around you. Arm yourself with your camera and crew and capture the spirit of cinema by your lens.
Send your films in CD/DVD before anyone else becomes the next generation showman!
Rules and Regulations: -
• The entries have to be original. Plagiarized content will lead to disqualification
• Maximum 3 members per team can participate and a maximum of 15 people can appear as part of the cast.
• The total running time of the movie should be 10 minutes including the time for titles and credits.
• The language of the movie must be Hindi or English.
• The short film has to be submitted in a CD or a DVD.
• Presence of participants is not mandatory. The CD or DVD can be sent by postal mail.
• Entries that are of unrecognized video formats shall not be considered. Only .avi and .mp4 formats will be permitted.
Deadline: - The deadline for submission of final movie is 00:00 am on 21/02/2012.

Preliminary round: A written test which will contain questions related to the fundamentals of financial markets.
Final Round: Short-listed teams will be given an amount to buy/sell securities. The team that makes maximum profit at the end of 2 hours will be declared as winner.

Description:-
The Sphinx is a music event for every college band to prove their mettle, irrespective of the genre of the music they play. Power packed performances, youthful energy and amazing music is what we vouch for. It's time for you to get your rightful share of the limelight.
Rules and Regulations:
• Drum-kits will be provided by us. Other instruments have to be arranged by the teams themselves.
• Teams are required to perform at least two songs.
• Original compositions/medleys are allowed.
• There should be at least one vocalist in the team.
• Teams will be judged on the basis of creativity, vocal strength and overall band coordination.
