Mozilla and National Science Foundation invite participants for the US Ignite initiative. This competition is all about building innovative applications that can revolutionize next generation networks. The goal is to be able to leverage Speed, Vedio, Big Data and Programmable networks in order to make new innovations in the field of manufacturing, energy, public safety and education. This competition is open to open but each team should have one representative from the US. There is one Brainstorming Round and Three Development Rounds Submissions for the Brainstorming Round are open now through August 23. Participation in the Brainstorming Round is optional, but encouraged. Applications for the Development Phase will open August 1, and must be received by September 20 to be approved for the very start of the development challenge. Funding will be awarded by our panel of expert judges at the end of each round. $500,000 US will be awarded in all. You can compete in a single development round, or in all three. |
