Event Description:

The Perfect (Elevator) Pitch is an event where students can showcase their entrepreneurial ideas in front of esteemed panels. Participants will need to present the elevator pitch of their business idea in 6 minutes time frame. The unique thing about this event is that you can participate even if you are not equipped with complete details of your business plan. You should have thought through your idea with respect to originality, problem that it resolves and the business that it can create for you. Come participate and take your idea to the next level.

Rules and Regulations:

1. The business plan could be in areas of IT&ITES, agribusiness, clean technology, health care & hospitality, education. All other business ideas would fall under 'Others' category.
2. Each team can have a maximum of 2 participants.
3. A person cannot be member of more than one team.
4. Any number of teams can participate from a particular college.
5. The presentation time limit is strictly 6 minutes.
6. A maximum of 7 slides may be used for the presentation.
7. The presentation would be followed by Judges' Questions and if time permits audience questions. Participants are expected to be succinct in their answers.
8. Teams that qualify the screening round would be informed through mail.
9. Qualified teams need to submit their final presentation by 9th August 8 pm.
10. It is team's responsibility to ensure that there is no glitch during presentation.
11. Judges' decisions would be final.

Screening Round:

1. Teams need to send an abstract of not more than 400 words in word format along with a cover page.
2. The abstract should bring out the following: Problem overview, solution overview, target customers,
market size, revenue model, funds required etc.
3. The idea should be original.
4. The abstract would be judged on the basis of innovativeness, scalability and clarity of idea.
5. Abstract needs to be sent to ecell.nmims@gmail.com. The abstract should be titled as
TeamName_abstract_TPP. The subject line should be TeamName_TPP.
6. Teams who qualify the screening round would be making into the finals.
