With the dream of promoting science and technology and vision of inculcating spirit of innovation, Infotsav ABV-IIITM has come up with some of the most exciting challenges under Robo Fiesta-2011. These robotics competitions and challenges endeavor to transform the ordinary students of today into visionary engineers of tomorrow. At the brainstorming platform of Robo Fiesta, you will witness a series full of competitions to bring out the practical applications of knowledge, determination and skills within all. Infotsav 2011 at ABV-IIITM, Gwalior awaits you for your absolute creativity and enthusiasm in the range of challenger from the pure field of robotics to the simple beginner level competition based on basic sciences. All that is required in Robo Fiesta is little bit tickling of your grey cells to think upon the smartest of ideas.

Following are the competitions under Robo Fiesta 2011-

Line Sequentes- An event for the beginners in which they will have to compete with their line following robots in the given arena and beat their respective competitors in terms of speed and time limits.

Robo Race- A simple and entry level Robotics competition where couple of Robots would be competing with each other in terms of speed and accurate control.

Robo Wars Mini- A real-time arcade game in which two opponents would be competing with their manually operated robots with the objective of immobilizing each other. The last robot standing would be the winner.

Futurist- A challenging event to build an autonomously controlled modeled vehicle that can travel through modeled road built up of the wooden blocks.

Open Hardware Contest- An open platform for all the budding engineers, scientists, and researchers who can come up with their innovative designs and implementations in the field of robotics and exhibit them in front of our elite panel and explain the working of their machines.

The WINNER of this event will get a direct entry to the Robo Games India.
