Utkansh 12, the spring summer fest of our college NIT Jalandhar,perks up the spirits of our young engineers in the tedious semester. It's a reflection of the vibe and the spirit of the institute, showcasing the immense talent the students possess in diverse fields. Events spanning from technical backdrop to literary events and from cultural field to fun interactions, all put together form the three day celebration called UTKANSH. The fest draws participation from colleges across Punjab, Haryana and Delhi and is one of the biggest fest of north India. It showcases and hones up the creative talent of much technical engineers. In a nutshell it is 3 days of complete entertainment,along with a pinch of knowledge and competition. Apart from the mainstream events- the EL CLASSICO's and many events of various societies of college,the fest hosts FOLK NIGHT,STAR NIGHT and KAVI SAMMELAN in the span of 3 days,many informal events like SPLITSVILLA, ROADIES, RJ HUNT and TREASURE HUNT add to the flavour. Glam Nite also known as houte couture is an event rich with character,atmosphere, glamour, fashionable crowd and ofcourse the attitude.The event is a full package of entertainment and a whole lot more fun ready to welcome the dawn. Rock Nite (megasonics) is the other most talked about event, MEGASONICS is a night full of electrifying performances on chart busters, foot-tapping numbers belted out by our rock bands who wrestle it out in the musical arena to prove their mettle. Other mainstream events like RangMahotsav which is the street play competition attracts a lot of colleges.Come forward to find and fine tune your talents and route a journey filled with fun and fervor with competition notching up the temperature and enthusiasm breaching the limit.
